The cuts@once salon in the Richmond Mall, Richmond, Nelson, has been operational in its present form since November 2007.
The salon is an open inviting environment. The sensory package has been carefully planned with regard to space, colours, lighting, music and convenience. Clean, clear, and uncluttered décor ensures ease of service while maintaining attentiveness to the needs of each client even on the busiest day. A large selection of both men’s and women’s magazines, local and national interest publications, children’s books, and the daily newspaper, are available. Colour clients will be offered a beverage and a cookie as they relax in the processing time while they read their favourite magazine.
At peak times 7 or more clients can be receiving service simultaneously. On our businest days (usually Saturdays and Sundays or holidays) waiting times can vary from a few minutes up to half an hour. On quieter days service can be received almost immediately, depending on staff availability at the time, all without an appointment.
cuts@once strenuously aims to achieve ease and transparency. All prices are clearly displayed so there are no surprises. The waiting areas are in clear view to enable an instant appraisal of just how busy the salon is. For payment the salon has full eftpos and credit card facilities. The retail areas are set up for easy browsing even though a hair service may not be required. All stylists are trained to consult in all ranges for information and reassurance.
